Heritage Art Galleries created the “Better Together” fingerprint project at last Fall’s Biz Art in The Park festival. We asked people in the community to place their colorful fingerprints on a canvas as a show of solidarity. Later, the words “Better Together,” and a custom frame were added to complete the project. We recently donated it to the City of North Lauderdale, and the mayor Ana Ziade, was so touched that she personally came to pick up the artwork at our store.

“We really wanted to create something that is a symbol of community and togetherness. Especially during these trying times,” said Linda T. Jerrell, co-owner of Heritage Art Galleries, Inc. We are so proud that it will hang in City Hall.

The publication Tamarac Talk interviewed us about the experience.
